Ministry Objectives

Provide the same opportunity for worship service and fellowship for our youth as is provided for the adults.

Develop a community where our youth are allowed the freed to grow and mature. A community that will develop...

  • Love instead of fear
  • Acceptance over performance
  • Hope instead of cynicism
  • Passion and Compassion rather than indifference
  • Discovery more that restraint and tradition
  • Conviction not conformity
  • Humility instead of pride
  • Inclusiveness rather than exclusiveness

Develop, plan and carry out each gather, activity session etc ... by beginning with prayer placing Christ in the center and closing with prayer.

MUCH PRAYER, MUCH POWER... LITTLE PRAYER, LITTLE POWER...
NO PRAYER, NO POWER.

Develop a ministry based on relationship, not programs.

Move youth from the dependence on youth facilitators to dependence on God

Help youth to own their faith and enable them to grow in Christian ministry.

Love unconditionally, "not with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth" I John 3:18

Invade their world in a way that they are the catalysts of the invasion.

Make the gospel of Jesus exciting to them; do not bore them with it.

Develop an understanding of an enthusiasm for worship.

Teach youth to listen for God's personal message to them.

Plan in such a way that we plant a tree of lifetime memories

Help youth to learn the joy of service

Help families succeed.
